What do you want to eat?

Spending more time away from internet and getting some Vitamin D!
I haven't been spending much time on Social Media Platforms "properly" these days. When I say properly I mean like really reading what my friends are up to or engaging in any form of conversation or debate on anyone's feed.

I am not too sure is it because the fact that work is piling up on the table or my interest and consumption of information off the internet has changed once again (It has nothing to do with having a son okay. Don't everything also blame fatherhood.). If your memory serves you well enough, you will remember Smith as the person who will jump into any form of online debate or even just dropping a comment on your pictures to troll you, simply because he can.

These days I am so lazy to engage in any form of debates, so much as that I do not even want to blog about anything that can cause a debate. (Yeah, talking about anything controversy can be an easy way to milk clicks and get the masses' attention but no thanks.)

It is very tiring just to bring my point across, these days especially. I feel that Facebook/Social Media generally has become very negative. People just jump onto you the very moment they see something that doesn't sit well with them instead of trying to think of the possibilities of the other party might probably be right. Because of this, most of the time I just post or share anything I like (which is safe) and I just leave it as it is. I know, I am very self centered that way I guess.

That being said, I actually saw a pretty funny quote the other day.

"Relationships are just two people constantly asking each other where they want to go eat, until one of them dies."

The Struggle is real. At least for me. Although I've been a fat boy most of my life, I am really not one of those foodie who will research on the best laksa, best hipster eggs, or even top 10 whatever nonsense food to eat. I've no idea what to eat and restaurant week for me was a big step forward of knowing where to go. Okay lah, to be honest it wasn't really my idea. It was also my colleague's idea. When you don't have great ideas, you better have great friend I guess.

Things got even worst after my weight loss and my new diet.  I can survive on almost nothing. Although I do not have a flat tummy on the outside, I swear the inside of my tummy is of a 17 yrs old teenager. I hardly eat and I am almost always full.

So these days the conversation about food goes down almost always like this:

Me: "What do you want to eat?"

Wife: "Anything"

Me: "I'm not hungry."

Wife: "But I need to eat"

Me: "Why not you decide then?"

Wife: "Anything lor."

Me: "Erm, why not we go find a nice place with nice food that I can take picture of?"

Wife: "Okay lor."

*Goes into google frenzy mode to find nice food for the wife and my camera.

Despite having like 10,000 food blogs on the internet. I find the decision of picking what to eat very tough. Not sure which blogger to believe, not too sure if we can get decent parking, not too sure if the food is nice, not too sure if we could get seats or sometimes we are simply too lazy to even put on pants to walk out of the house.

In fact the reason I am actually visiting cafes or restaurants these days is really more for photo-taking or simply for work. Yeah, I am working on a new product for the company which involves food. I know I am not the biggest foodie around but comon, I have colleagues with better taste bud. HAHA.
