Salted gula melaka and durian ice cream lost and found!

Contrary to popular belief that Smith doesn't eat ever since his weight lost of 16kg, I am actually eating a lot more "unhealthy food". I do not eat your typical fried rice or chap chai png but I actually spent a lot of my pay and time on cafe hopping and ice cream hunting. (both for the camera as well as my belly of course.)

Which also means, our asian food choice of rice and noodles is actually the real reason why we are fat. Okay fine, why I am fat. Better not offend online netizen these days. Later tio fathership stomp for bringing out 1 little of fresh fruit juice. (Actually no lah, I'm not even famous enough to get such campaign. Fine, actually I did a campaign for peel fresh before. LOL.)

So after visiting ice cream cafes after ice cream cafes, I actually found one of the best salted gula melaka and durian ice cream at one of the most mainstream places. It is so mainstream that I haven't stepped into it for the longest time. So long that I didn't even remember they have these two favorite local flavours!!!

And you know what's the best thing? Happy Hours on weekday from 2.30pm to 5pm, it is 1 for 1. Which means you get a pretty sundae like this at only around $6 EACH! And for almost the same price, this is all you can get at a hispter cafe.


Okay lah, to be fair hipster cafes' ice cream price ranges from $3 - $5ish and also Swensen's price I am talking about is only referring to happy hours. BUT STILL! It is damn tasty! So stop only going to hipster cafes and neglect our good old established mainstream restaurants!!!
