In summary, this man with 3 kids and a wife has this website that makes discreet relationship really easy. It's an online dating website for the married.

So it created an uproar in Singapore that we should not allow this site into Singapore. Not only did it created an uproar but also a Facebook page. I can't say it's a fan page: Block Ashley Madison Singapore.

Most of the voices talks about how crazy this site is and the problems that it can caused with this site but some choose to think differently.

My Take...

Not having a site will not stop the cheaters from cheating and neither will it means that we will be all nice and fuzzy with our partners but I do believe that having such a site make things easier. It's like without age limit for cigs makes things easier for kids to start smoking and without ERP and COE we will all Jam up the road. (Ignore my last example, it's a bad one cause our roads are still jammed with ERP and COE.) Making things readily available makes a big difference. If we are fans and believer for self control, why is MDA blocking all my favourite porn sites even when I am an adult and should be allowed to surf my favourite porn? Why are we banning something as simple as chewing gums? Are Singaporeans ready for self control, discipline and respect?

Then again, I am saying this site will self moderate itself at the end of the day. The most dangerous place might end up being the safest and same goes for the other way round. If this is a well known ~~cheating~~ alternate dating site and you suspect your partner having an affair, where are you going to start checking first? Maybe his internet cache, surfing history or mobile app? If you know your partner will have their eyes on this site, will you still use it?

So if no one is going to use it...

So are we really going to get all crying out loud and making a fuss?

When I was younger I spent a lot of time reading comics and watching all these superheroes cartoon off TV. One of my favourite has to be Thor because he is big, he is 100% sense of justice and doing what is right unlike some other superheroes.

Why is Thor so cool?

Besides the fact that he has very nice biceps and a very hot girlfriend, Jane Foster who is actually Natalie Portman, he has one of the coolest weapon in comic history ever. The Mjolnir.

Do you know that in other universe of Thor's comic, Thor is more like a 2nd "person" that will possesses another person when the weapon is being activated by striking it on the floor? One of the most epic conceal has to be the walking stick by Donald Blake. I think if I have the Mjolnir (and I can actually wield it), I shall have it disguise as my handphone app and only summon it via an app. I will probably uses it's weather manipulation ability the most considering the fact that I am staying in Singapore with inconsistent and unpredictable weather. You guys know my silly dog Brover?

Some call him a mix-breed, some call him a mongrel and some prefer to call him the Singapore Special.

There are some things about the mongrel that I really like. They look tough and they are always happy and active. In fact, from what I understand is that they are indeed tougher in terms of health wise. They are easier to maintain as a pet as well. But sad to say not every Singaporean thinks so.

Many individual still look at them as "stray dogs", "cheap dogs" or unwanted dogs. Just because they are not pedigree they are being look down as a lower life form?

If you are a real dog/animal lover, you have to believe that every animal is equal. (Fine, before you guys come and bite me and complain about how I am eating cow, pigs, chicken cause they are animals too. I say I love them too. Just differently. #SelfTrollFirst.)

Anyway, my wife and I are believer of adoption cause we know and we have seen how breeder take cares of those breeding dogs. Their living condition and the amount of lives they have sacrificed just to bring you one cute little puppy. So where did we get Brover from? Brover was actually rescued by a guy name Clifford and Brover's "ownership" was actually under this organization call the "Save our street dogs" aka SOSD.

As much as we wished to be a volunteer to be at the shelter to help out and what not, we do have too much on our plate to commit. Thus, I am helping out in alternate ways! (Like getting you guys to do it. :D )

Not only do I not know how to describe how nice the food is, I do not have a proper camera and now on top of all these - I AM LATE. I am super late on this post. It's like major back dated but I still want to talk about it because the food is really good and I have to share it with you guys.

So I heard that the other branches are really crowded and you have to wait really long before you get a seat but things are different here at Prince Edward Road. They have plenty of seats and I think it is a good place to bring your parents or even friends from out of town to have meals since it's located in the heart of Singapore and the carpark is right in front of the restaurant which means minimum walking distance for the oldies.

In preparation of our own wedding, (If you are confused, we are lawfully married but we haven't go through the traditional stuff and the "party", thus we are still in preparation stage. Some said that her Email got hacked, some mentioned that she is really stupid to do this and currently both her blog and twitter are gone. Unpublished or remove maybe, I don't know.

As a Blogger

Let me look at it from a point of view as a blogger.

1. I will never do something like this because I can pay for my own hair do. (considering the fact I only pay $8.80 for each cut.)

2. I will never do that because as much as you can shame anyone, anyone can shame you too. Apparently it is happening now. So don't think that your 5,000 readership per month can save you in any situation.

3. There are times that marketing person can be an ass and be demanding and even make you dance and sing a song if they give you some peanuts but my advice to all young, old, pretty or ugly bloggers, you might think that you are an individual and you hold NO responsibility to any organisation and you can say whatever you want because you are who you are, think again. The world is round and burning any bridges just means that your walk is going to be a bigger and longer walk. Regardless of how bad things goes down, try not to have any black and white that looks like the one above. I rather you call and shout at that person.

As a Marketing/Advertising/Brand/Community Manager

1. I really can't answer myself this question either. Would I have done the same like what Conrad here did. Would I have the balls to name and shame her openly? Maybe not frankly cause in some ways this to some clients can be considered as bad PR although yes, you have balls to stand up to the rights of your company and what not but not many clients appreciates such balls these days. #TrueStory

2. Would this story end differently if it was not this girl and XX or Mr.Brown. (Not saying they would do something but my point here is about social status difference.)

3. What would I do if it was me in Conrad's shoes? I might very much just reply her and say sorry too bad, you ain't who we want with such an attitude and good bye.

4. Handling bloggers can be a pain in the ass sometimes. Some bloggers think they are celebrities and some thinks they are the only way you can sell your product but of course there are many nice and humble people out there who can really help. Always be careful when engaging bloggers. If you do not know how, it is always better to get an agency or community manger from the inside to help.

Biggest Question:

I think the biggest question now for many of my blogger friends is - "Who is Janiqueel". Apparently a lot of my blogger friends doesn't know her or even heard about her. And why is she so bossy if she is not even famous/popular in the community?

That is an invalid question to me, cause if you are famous and popular, you really don't need to be bossy about it. Heard of empty vessels making the most noise?

What's next?

If Janiqueel ever reads this, these are my advice:

1. Reopen your blog, this is the time you get the most traffic. Nothing can get worst at this point of time. You might as well embrace it.

2. It IS an one sided story as of now. Why not stand up for yourself? I am sure you had a reason to call him jerk. Whatever it is, tell your story. If you are only good enough to blog reviews about hair colours or your lunch, you might as well not be a blogger. (Probably that's why you close it down?)

3. If you really think it is your fault and that is why you close you blog down, step up and admit your mistake. Blog about it. No one taught you how to be a blogger anyway. Nobody gave you a hand book of the Dos and Donts. Our nation is full of compassion, Jack Neo made some mistakes, now he is a famous director of Ah Boys to Men and nobody judged him anymore. (Maybe until the opening of Ashley Madison.) And even Michael Palmer stepped up for his mistake and people still respect him. So if you think you made a mistake, this is the time to admit it and not hide.

4. THIS IS YOUR BIG BREAK. When was the last time another blogger went BOOMZ? Maybe ZR and her Yuki story? Or maybe food blogger who doesn't pay for his food? Be it right or wrong, people want to read your blog now. I am not advocating that everyone should go make some scandal for yourself but it has proven that it gives you the attention that a lot of bloggers wants these days isn't it? You may or may not get anymore freebies as of now but in time to come, things like this will blow over and you still get the traffic. (I mean that is of course IF your writing and content even makes sense cause I heard some people telling me your writing sucks.)

5. If the 2nd part of point 4 is true, my advise is to improve on that as well.

I started the year feeling slow old and fat. The only physical activity I was doing was my not so regular basket balling games over the weekend. I'm injury prone so I don't play that much even when I am on the court side. I look at myself and I was telling myself this ain't how I want my life to me.

Moreover, moving to Punggol and everyone work out there, run and cycle. It just make you feel healthier just by breathing the air there.

So I bought some weights started lifting it. Started cycling, playing more ball and also running slowly again and also joined some running events recently trying my best to get back into shape. (When was I ever in shape?)

One of the biggest problem that I faced with wasn't just the lack of stamina or really lazy but the vain pot in me was shouting in my face that you need to be in the right attire for every occasion. I really can't stand men who goes to work in pants and running shoes or going for a basketball game in his polo Ts and slippers. I mean besides the fact that I am very vain, I also believe that there is a right attire for every occasion. Go ahead and judge me but I know I am right.

So what was the problem? I do not have enough sports attire cause I haven't been exercising much. The only thing that I have a lot are NBA jerseys and no, you do not wear NBA jerseys for run.

Who has a last name for a first name?! I thought to myself when I first read of Smith Leong, the online persona I came to associate as the man with 2 last names.

This is the tale of how I met Smith. Where else to meet Smith other than on the web? His online presence wasn't one to be ignored, like virtually in your face. For someone like me who wasn't exceptionally savvy with the web in the past, I can't say I was interested to know more about Smith online. He followed me (it was probably at night, in the dark, when I wasn't looking) on Twitter and liked any girl shouldn't do, I followed a stranger back.

End of story.

Well technically it was because I don't recall us communicating much. Until one day he tweeted that Marshall went missing and that triggered that ignorant in me to transform into OMGSOMEONENEEDSTOFINDHISPUSSY mode. Retweets started and I began to follow the episode of Missing Marshall. Needless to say that I was happy and relived when Marshall returned home!

And they lived happily ever after.

Because we never contacted again. But the following continued on Facebook and Instagram. Mama said I shouldn't talk to strangers but she didn't mention anything about following.

So this year, Smith answered an SOS tweet of mine regarding social media and the need to understand its chaotic ways. We finally met in person at a very memorable location - Coffee Bean. There's a couple of CBs where we were and apparently we were at different ones. Note: CBs may look different but hey deep down, the serve the same purpose - to feed and satisfy.

Anyway, we conversed over food and coffee Smith taught me a lot. About social media. Till today I still am very grateful!

Some time later we met again at a lingerie boutique.

It's the best meeting point because you can't miss La Senza. Then pink, the black, the tiny fabrics! But it was all business at Ambush, where we had dinner. We don't beat around the mulberry bush here. Conversation was trim and we didn't stray. Smith and I adjourned for some fun soon after - visiting the toy shop! Seriously, I never knew how huge certain toys can get, so many shapes and sizes, oh and the games people play! Toy Outpost and Simply Toys blew me away.

Months later we had lunch at a happy place - Le Cafe! Any cafe with free wi-fi is good in my books. Such a cute cafe too! And this is where I'm writing this post. Smith has just returned to work and I sit on my own in this now empty cafe to pen my thoughts. Le Cafe seems to be an appropriate place to write this because meeting Smith was truly a happy event. I'm very thankful for his friendship!

Review: Fantasy, Castle, Princesses, Prince, Love, Magic.

The must have elements in a Disney movie.

If you are fan of Disney movie, you wouldn't be disappointed.

Witty, funny, touching movie that keeps me entertained and laughing out loud.

I love the songs written and composed by the husband-and-wife songwriting team of Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez in Frozen.

You can hear the“Disney magic” in those songs.

One of my favourite will be “Let it go” sang by Demi Lovato. (Definitely not a stranger to people who watch Disney channel)

My favourite scene would be when Elsa uses her powers to build an amazing castle from snow and made a beautiful gown for herself.

The WOW factor is definitely there which sets you dreaming of how wonderful it will be to live in such castle and to own such a pretty gown.

I have to say, the ending caught me by surprise as it was not your typical Disney movie where the Prince kisses the Princess to free her and they live happily ever after.

Anna was hit by her sister with ice that freezes her heart.

She can only be saved by an act of true love kiss.

I thought to myself “Confirm is Anna thought that Prince (Hans) is her true love. They kissed but nothing happened then she realized actually Kristoff is her true love. She went to Kristoff and they kissed and TADA unfreeze the ice in her heart.”

But no!

I thought it was quite refreshing to have a not-so-Disney-on-who-will-kiss-the-princess.

In short I would say Frozen is a Cartoon version high school musical in winter and Princesses edition.

I went to read on 50 things that you may not know about Disney's frozen and I was stunned that “depending on the shot, it can take up to 4,000 computers and 30 hours just to complete one frame.”

DO YOU KNOW Filmmakers invited a real-life reindeer into the Walt Disney Animation Studios, observing the animal’s physical makeup and mannerisms, which were later caricatured in the making of Kristoff’s reindeer buddy Sven in “Frozen.”

AND.. Several members of the production team traveled to Quebec to experience the Ice Hotel as inspiration for Elsa’s ice palace featured in “Frozen.”

You just can’t imagine the hard work that the team have gone through to produce a 2-hour animated movie.

I love movies that have meaningful quotes that you just want to post it up on FB, Twitter and Tumblr.

So here is my best Quote award from Olaf (snowman): "Some people are worth melting for." (I looked at the boy when I heard this. heehee)

How often do you observe people on the train? When an eye candy walks in, do you perk up? Ok maybe not during peak periods when all you can see is another person's nape or someone's earlobe.

But when you're out and the cabin's relatively empty, who do you notice?

I was on the train one day when this really pretty girl walked in. Her skin was a healthy orange and her dark hair was complemented with soft curls. Her almond eyes were made up with eyeliner and lush lashes, almost pin up. She had a nose as cute as a button and boasted small, pouty lips. Her clothes were casual chic - a white tank top and pink shorts that accentuated her tush.

I might have just described an imaginary girl but no, that was how she looked. I noticed her because she's everything I'm not. I admired how confidently she carried herself as she strolled into the cabin and sat next to me.

That's the problem - she sat next to me. How am I supposed to continue ogling when a babe positions herself at a un-oglable angle?!

Mehhh.

Anyway, do you know what I really miss seeing in trains? A person reading an actual book. E-books do not count. Eye candy is doubly sweet when a guy has something thick in his hands – more specifically, a novel.

He's not watching a movie, he's not stuck on unlocking achievements and neither is he bent on moving on to the next level. Dude's a cracking bookworm and that's something refreshing.

So yeah, these are the two kinds of people I notice on my train rides – the unconventionally attractive girls and cute boys with books. What about you?

I was wrong. In fact I am very wrong that it is going to be easy. It's interesting how the experience of me walking into a "slimming facility" gave me more shame inside myself as compared to going to a waxing parlour.

Fear

"Are people going to judge me that I'm a gay?"
"Are people going to laugh at me that a fat boy trying too hard to be skinny?"
"Are people going to say that I am lazy cause I could have just run it off the organic way?"
"So gullible this man. This kinda thing where will work.."
"Will they make me strip naked and will they laugh at me for being so fat and out of shape?"

I think all these fears really applies only to man at a beauty parlour cause ladies and things like these are like a match made in heaven.

Frankly, nobody cares and in fact nobody even put their eyes on me but I was still feeling rather uneasy until the very nice people at Abstrim greeted me at the front desk and shortly i was brought into this waiting area for my consultant.

So the 1st instruction I got was for me to take off my....

Shoes and stand onto this machine. This machine is the machine that served me reality on a nice sliver platter.

This machine tracks your weight, your fats level, water level, muscles level, metabolism rate and also if you have any overdue credit card bill. You know i'm kidding right? LOL. Anyway yes, before anything goes, there's a nice session of them explaining to us what is this about, what is the technology and why we are we doing this. (Because I am fat. LOL).

And interesting fact is that even very fit body trainers come for this fat freezing service cause lower abs fats are very hard to lose. So no shame for fat boy Smith right? LOL.

So it's really cool I find. It's not like something you pay money go in and not knowing what is happening. Abstrim actually educate you about what is this all about as well. This is not blogger special okay? It's the same process for everyone.

And after that they bring me into this nice and cosy room and this time round I had to strip and change into a boxer. I would love to take some pics but i shyyyyyyyy. And also the room is too dark. So I found a Youtube video off the internet which is pretty similiar.

So how I feel?

It's not painful, it's not ticklish, in fact you don't feel anything. I lay down and I kinda fall asleep for awhile. It's actually quite a relax session. The pain might come after in a day or two but it's not very very pain. It's just like a little bit of "orh ceh" (blue black) kinda sensation.

It's about a change of lifestyle

To be very honest, Abstrim Men is not magic. It will not show result within the day or immediately. It helps to freeze the fats internally and slow it down but end of the day you have to watch your diet as well as maintaining a healthy lifestyle. It will help to make things easier but it is no miracle. So some choose to say things like how they select Romeo who is already skinny to begin with is a "scam" or simply just advertising. True but not entirely true. Maybe Romeo was skinny and lean but can't get the abs out and that is the result of Abstrim Men? Did I become like or Romeo overnight?

For those who haven't heard about it. Tao Bao is now "in" Singapore. They now have a SEA version. The major difference is that they have direct shipping to SG! Of course it's not direct by Tao Bao but it's tied down as a 3rd party provider on the page itself like a selected partner. So convenient!

Anyway, before you give me the "aiya, so many Chinese charters.. I cannot read lah.", there IS translation lah dey!

Look where we are now though – smartphones and tablets with amazing HD screens, super-fast connections, and every kind of social media you could want; from tweets to pics and entire life histories, available 24/7, on something that fits in your pocket. But don’t forget, in 10 years time it’ll all seem clunky and boring, as we’ll all have 3D IMAX implants in our eyeballs.

People either love Twitter or hate it. It usually takes a while for people to start following you at first, and many new Tweeters give up in frustration. But stick with it, start following interesting people, and you may eventually find it pretty rewarding. You’ll soon learn to avoid the people who are using the site for marketing purposes. It’s even been involved in real social change in some countries.

Facebook

Facebook is probably the king of social media right now, having kicked MySpace off its perch a while ago. By September last year there were more than a billion active Facebook users worldwide. So what keeps the site expanding? There’s the social aspect of course; simply keeping in contact with friends and family. But that social theme is continued in other ways as well, like gaming. Games are massively popular on Facebook and other sites, and people looking for farming simulators, puzzles, casino games like poker and blackjack or even baccarat rebates from various sites can find the stuff they need easily and quickly.

Photo Sharing

Instagram is the leader in photo sites for now, and its free image filters and sharing abilities allow users to link up nicely with Twitter and Facebook. Pinterest launched around the same time, and exploits a slightly different niche, offering a virtual pin-board for users to display images and other themed content.

As the technology gets better and faster, social media is bound to keep growing. Just be careful what you post – the internet is full of examples of things people have shared and then wished they hadn’t!

Music accompanies me everyday. It fills the void in my quiet home with fetching voices, layered notes and dreamy lullabies. The empty corner in my brain is now occupied with sounds and the voices can’t get to me anymore.

YAY!

But when I’m trying to write, I switch to instrumentals (I just switched from Bastille to The Ventures) otherwise there’d be a collision of words and I’d be mentally hitting a texty, brick wall, repeatedly. And ever since Spotify came into my life, the world has been a better, happier place to live in!
